Timo Pierre Rositzki was born in 1988 in Hamburg / Germany. As a young kid he acted in several operas at the state opera house in Hamburg,
such as „The Flying Dutchman“ or „Macbeth“. He also went to an acting school, took piano lessons and tried ballet in addition to his dance lessons and his passion for music. After turning down the notion of becoming a dancer, he started focusing entirely on making films since the thought of having every art form he loved in one was most intriguing. In the following years he produced various music videos, commercials and short films mostly as a director, cinematographer, editor and composer at the same time.
After successful internships at film production companies such as Wueste Film („Head-On“), Corazón International („Soul Kitchen“) and Constantin Film („The NeverEnding Story“, „Downfall“, „The Resident Evil Series“), Rositzki shot his short film „Profile“ (2011), which earned him numerous awards all around the world, including the Shocking Shorts Award – the most prestigious short film award in Germany.
The „SSA“ brought him to Los Angeles where he underwent an extensive one-month workshop at Universal Pictures. By 2015 he completed his first score for German movie BOY 7, released his first single as a solo music artist under the alias CELLAR KID and has his first feature film script in development. Even though Timo attended the highly acclaimed Filmacademy Baden-Wuerttemberg in Germany for a short period of time, he is completely self-taught and considers making films & music as his true film school. In short, Timo doesn’t like to talk so much, he rather just says: „Let’s do it!“
